baby monster: everybody’s doing it.

Baby Monster - She Comes Alive
Ellie Goulding - Under The Sheets (Baby Monster Remix)

Quite honestly? I don’t know much about Baby Monster. Up until a week or two ago, I knew they did a remix of Ellie Goulding‘s “Under The Sheets” and that’s about it. Well, it turns out that our blog-bros at BIGSTEREO will be releasing a 7″vinyl of their new single “She Comes Alive”, including b-side “Sudden Symphony”. There are only 350 copies available with an ominous promise of no repress, so you better get your hands on one before they become the next big thing. Or maybe they’re already the next big thing?

The point is that you should cop this shit, because if you pre-order it now you’ll receive a link to a free exclusive Baby Monster mixtape. And if that’s not enough to convince you, just think about how much you’ll regret not having this when it’s worth a million-trillion dollars and the band’s partying on a yacht with Lady Gaga and George Clooney. Because, duh, they obviously will be.

There’s no ignoring that “She Comes Alive” sounds like an outtake from MGMT‘s Oracular Spectacular, but I’d sooner compare these guys’ whole vibe to Australia’s Empire of the Sun. Then again, I’d rather not compare them to anyone, given that I haven’t heard enough of their material to make such comparisons. So let’s just say they sound like something you want to put in your ears.
