This is the first in a series of artist/musician curated mixtapes that will be infrequently featured here. Our guest playlister for today is the incomparably talented Jared Nickerson of J3Concepts. This guy’s resume is pretty substantial. Besides co-founding BloodSweatVector, he’s done jaw dropping work for Adidas, MTV, Mad Decent, Nike, Nintendo, and is currently holding it down as art director of laFraise. He’s also a bit of a music freak and, while yakking about records the other day, I asked him to put together a playlist of some recent inspirations. He one-upped me by providing cover art (downloadable in full size here) for the whole thing.
