Nick Krgvich is one of our generation’s true musical polymaths. Whether he’s recording as No Kids, P:ano, or, now, Gigi, his attention to detail is evident without ever compromising the sheer listenability of whatever he’s obsessing over. What he’s done here is put together the 60s pop record that Monster Bobby and Stuart Murdoch wish they had made. I guess 2010 is the year of reverb, in all of its many incarnations.
